Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN to join our team in the Multispecialty Procedure Care Unit (MSPU) at Center for Health and Healing 2 and Multnomah Pavilion Endoscopy. As an RN in this role, you will provide high-quality patient care for adult patients undergoing gastrointestinal related diagnostic and/or interventional procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in endoscopy care
  • Meet the physical and mental demands of the role, including standing for up to 3 hours, wearing lead garments, and working in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
  • Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing Degree from a program accredited by Commission of Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (CNEA)
  • Current, unencumbered Oregon State Registered Nurse License by 1 week before start date
  • BLS at time of hire and must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA). BLS must not expire during orientation or probation period
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience performing moderate sedation
  • Experience performing motility and PH testing procedures
  • Experience with GI Surgery or medicine and the disease processes associated with them
