Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and nurture customer relationships while identifying potential growth avenues.
  • Procure scrap metal materials and negotiate terms of specifications and payment.
  • Achieve or surpass sales volume and profit margin targets.
  • Foster an environment of trust, respect, and collaboration across all departments.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Implement safety measures and recommend strategies to protect employees from hazardous practices and materials.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing supplier inquiries related to pricing, quality, logistics, and safety.
  • Maintain and update weekly sales tracking reports.
  • Conduct market research and communicate findings to the team.

Qualifications:

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • At least 5 years of experience in the Metals Recycling Industry as a Buyer and Seller.
  • Demonstrated success in customer development, contract negotiation, and management of industrial or wholesale accounts.
  • In-depth knowledge of recycled materials, production processes, quality assurance, cost management, and strategies for maximizing product profitability.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, proficiency in MS Office, and ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
  • Exceptional time management, communication, cold-calling, and negotiation abilities.
  • Experience with both Ferrous and Nonferrous metals.
  • Proven track record in business development through client acquisition.
