POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Licensed Child Psychologist with expertise in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for children and adolescents. This role involves working with young clients facing various psychological challenges.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position is based in a supportive practice dedicated to providing high-quality mental health services. The focus is on evidence-based treatments, particularly for anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, and trauma-related issues.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide individual therapy to children and teens using CBT and exposure-based techniques.
- Collaborate with a team of professionals while also working independently.
- Manage your own schedule to accommodate client needs.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT:
We offer regular group case consultations and opportunities for training incentives to enhance your skills and knowledge.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must hold a valid and current independent clinical psychologist license in Maryland or any PsyPact state.
- Experience in CBT with children and adolescents is essential.
- Willingness to transition away from insurance affiliations if currently credentialed.
