MRI Technologist Level II

Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist Level II to join our team in Pembroke Pines, Florida.
Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced MRI Technologist to work in our diagnostic imaging department. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating MRI equipment, preparing patients for scans, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities:- Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
- Prepare patients for scans, including explaining procedures and positioning patients correctly
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
- Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training
- Two years of experience as an MRI Technologist, with a minimum of six months in a hospital setting
- Registration as a Technologist (RT), (RTT), or (NMTCB) and registration in magnetic resonance imaging (MR) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
