Canine Stylist

Scenthound in East Orlando, FL is seeking a skilled Dog Groomer to join our team.

The estimated salary for this position is $18-$22 per hour, based on industry standards and the location. As an integral part of our grooming service, you will provide high-quality grooming services to clients while maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities:

• Groom dogs to Scenthound standards.
• Perform puppy cuts, adhering to one length all-over with a neat face.
• Create a conducive learning environment, fostering open communication and teamwork.
• Identify areas where assistance is needed and provide support to maintain a smooth workflow.
• Ensure the safety of dogs and team members at all times.
• Maintain adherence to Scenthound's sanitary and cleaning practices.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Scenter Manager.

Requirements:

• A minimum of one year of grooming experience and graduation from a grooming school.
• In-depth knowledge of dog breeds, care standards, and grooming tools.
• The ability to lift up to 70 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation.
• A willingness to work in a smoke-free environment.
