Occupational Therapist Assistant for K-12 Schools

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our team in Mountain House, California.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to provide therapy services to patients in a school setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and be able to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Work closely with Occupational Therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Assist with the implementation of therapeutic activities and exercises to improve motor skills, coordination, and independence.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) licensure in the state of California.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with IEPs and ability to maintain accurate records.
- A comprehensive health insurance package.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
