Job Summary

The Library Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the library, providing exceptional support to students, faculty, and staff. This part-time position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with circulation duties, including checking in and out books, and answering patron queries.
  • Provide support with library operations, including maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, faculty, and staff.
  • Collaborate with the librarian to ensure seamless library operations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of library software and systems.
