Job Overview

VocoVision is a leading provider of remote education services, and we are looking for a skilled Educational Specialist to work with us. As a Virtual Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI), you will provide online instruction and support to visually impaired students throughout Oregon.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality online instruction to visually impaired students, tailored to their individual needs and abilities.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive individualized education plans (IEPs) that promote academic growth and independence.
  • Monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and adjustments to instruction as needed.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements
  • Masters Degree in Education for Visually Impaired Students or a related field.
  • Oregon TVI certification.
  • Proven experience working with school-aged children who are visually impaired.
  • Excellent communication and technology skills, with the ability to effectively utilize digital tools and platforms.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is between $60,000 and $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
