Job Summary:
The Waters of Rockport is seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and assisting with food preparation for breakfast, lunch, and dinner while following specific dietary restrictions and providing alternatives for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of foods in large quantities
- Assist with food preparation and presentation
- Follow verbal and written instructions
- Work with and provide care to individuals of a wide range of personality types and maturity levels
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and management
Requirements:
- High school education or equivalent
- One year of dietary experience in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or other related medical facility (preferred)
- Sanitation certificate
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
