Job Title: Marine Electrician

Regal Marine Industries, Inc. is seeking a skilled Marine Electrician to join our team. As a Marine Electrician, you will be responsible for the installation and testing of electrical wiring, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our boats.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and test electrical wiring and systems, including navigation, communication, and power management systems.
  • Inspect and diagnose electrical malfunctions, using visual inspections and testing instruments.
  • Collaborate with leadership and engineering to improve product design and performance, ensuring all electrical installations meet regulatory and safety standards.
  • Manage and complete job duties according to the production schedule, ensuring timely and efficient workflow.
  • Follow the company's safety and quality guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • At least two years of experience in electrical work, specifically in the marine, RV, or similar industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in confined spaces.
  • Conversational English skills and ability to interpret manufacturing schedules.
  • Experience working with 12v, 120v, and 240v systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment and adhere to safety precautions.
  • Experience working with Yamaha and Volvo systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues.
Work Environment:

Must be able to work in a non-climate controlled environment where ambient air temperature can exceed outside air temperature reaching over 100 degrees Fahrenheit at times.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to bend at the waist and knees and stand for extended periods of time. The employee is frequently required to climb into and out of the boats using stairs. The employee must frequently be able to lift 50 pounds, work 10 hour days with most of the time being on your feet, and work overtime, whether planned or unplanned.
