Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a highly skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to join their team in Marble Falls, Texas.
About the RoleThis position requires a strong foundation in surgical technology, with excellent communication and teamwork skills. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an operating room environment, with knowledge of instrumentation, equipment, and sterile technique.
Key Responsibilities- Assist surgeons and anesthesia providers during procedures, ensuring the smooth execution of surgeries.
- Prepare and maintain instrument tables, ensuring all necessary items are available and within reach.
- Participate in pre-operative planning and preparation, ensuring accurate counts and setup for each procedure.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to address any issues or concerns that arise during surgery.
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
- Graduation from an accredited surgical technology program.
- 1+ year of experience working in an operating room environment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
