Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Ear Health Professional to join our audiology team at Kaiser Permanente. As an Ear Health Professional, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of hearing disorders. Your responsibilities will include administering diagnostic audiological tests, interpreting test results, and consulting with physicians to develop effective treatment plans. You will also work closely with patients and their families to educate them on their condition and provide them with the necessary support to manage their hearing health effectively. Responsibilities:
  • Diagnostic Testing: Administers diagnostic audiological tests to identify the type and severity of hearing disorders.
  • Test Interpretation: Interprets test results to determine the underlying cause of hearing disorders and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Patient Education: Counsels patients and their families on the diagnosis and treatment of hearing disorders, providing them with the necessary information to manage their condition effectively.
  • Care Coordination: Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions between treatments.
  • Professional Development: Participates in ongoing education and training opportunities to stay current with the latest advancements in audiology.

Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Masters degree or Clinical Doctorate in Audiology (AuD) prior to employment start date.
  • Licensure: Audiologist License (California) required at hire OR Temporary Audiologist License (California) required at hire.
  • Certification: National Provider Identifier required at hire.
  • Training: Basic Life Support required from American Heart Association.

Salary Range: $70,800 - $91,608 per year

Location: California, San Rafael
Shift: Day
Hours: 24 hours/week
