We are seeking dedicated and empathetic individuals to enhance our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will collaborate with a dynamic group focused on improving health outcomes for vulnerable populations.
The Registered Nurse will deliver personalized care primarily to medical and telemetry patients, including those with co-occurring Substance Use Disorders (SUD).
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe and thorough care to patients at various recovery stages.
- Serve as a patient advocate.
- Administer prescribed medications.
- Monitor patient conditions and implement necessary interventions.
- Foster a collaborative and team-oriented environment.
- Encourage patient success and support a recovery-focused atmosphere.
- Assist in creating safe discharge plans, including aftercare when suitable.
- Effectively delegate tasks and supervise support staff.
- Perform additional duties as needed.
Qualifications:
Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and hold a current, unrestricted license in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in Connecticut or be eligible to obtain one.
Preferred Qualifications:
One year of experience in acute care nursing, a BSN or ADN/ASN with active enrollment in a BSN program, and familiarity with substance abuse care. Experience with Epic is also advantageous.
