Key Responsibilities:

As a CAD Automation Engineer at Apple, you will be responsible for developing innovative machine learning software applications to optimize and interact with advanced circuit design systems. Your primary focus will be on designing and implementing novel interaction mechanisms with our extensive compute infrastructure, identifying opportunities for optimizing and reusing hardware IP assets, and collaborating with diverse design teams to understand their needs and requirements for various machine learning applications.

Key Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience in developing object-oriented programs, utilizing data structures, and writing algorithms. A strong background in transistor-level electrical engineering and related software tools for circuit analysis, such as simulation, timing, EM/IR, layout, extraction, or power analysis, is also required. Experience in machine learning applications, natural language processing, and large language models is highly desirable. Additionally, you will need to have excellent communication and presentation skills, a strong drive to succeed in challenging settings, and a commitment to excellence and productivity.
