  • Maintain accurate shipping records, including returned merchandise, damage, and discrepancies.
  • Ensure the safe handling and storage of merchandise, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and delivery drivers.
  • Perform regular safety checks on powered industrial trucks, including batteries, brakes, and lift controls.
  • Recommend equipment needs and repairs to ensure optimal warehouse operations.
  • Verify inventory levels through system cycle counts and physical counts.
  • Transport merchandise from daily inbound receipts to designated locations.
  • Replenish warehouse pick locations to capacity and load outbound carriers.
  • Comply with all workplace safety procedures and measures, documenting any unsafe acts, conditions, or accidents.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of previous warehouse and forklift experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • High degree of attention to detail and ability to perform light to heavy physical tasks.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. safely and operate a variety of powered industrial trucks.
  • Dependability, reliability, and ability to use equipment safely and sensibly.
