Job Overview: Staff Nurse-Wound Care Casual Days

Nursing Responsibilities
  • Critically evaluate data, develop individualized plans, coordinate care delivery, and assess progress toward expected outcomes.
  • Determine the most effective use of assistants involved in direct patient care.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and ancillary staff to create documented plans focused on patient-centered care.
  • Participate in shared governance, committee work, and unit projects.
  • Evaluate and document patient responses to nursing interventions in the health record, ensuring tailored plans based on findings.

Estimated Salary: $ 85,000 per year.

QualificationsRequirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Current State of Illinois Registered Professional Nurse
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate with others
  • Strong analytical abilities

Note: Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) accepted with commitment to obtain BSN from accredited program within three years of employment.
