Apprentice Carpenter Job Description

We are seeking skilled and motivated individuals to join our team as Apprentice Carpenters at the High Rise Concrete Carpenters of New York City. As an Apprentice Carpenter, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in the trade, working on high-rise construction projects in New York City.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist experienced carpenters in the construction of high-rise buildings
  • Learn and apply safety protocols and procedures
  • Develop skills in carpentry, including working with scaffolding and in confined spaces
  • Work in a team environment to complete projects on time and to a high standard
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 17 years old
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be physically able to perform the work of the trade
  • Must pass a substance abuse screening
  • Must be able to read, hear, and understand written and verbal instructions and warnings in English
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the United States
