At Amazon, we're building a new initiative within our Games division dedicated to developing cutting-edge anti-cheat solutions.
The Senior Anti-Cheat Engineer will play a key role in protecting the multiplayer experience of millions of players by designing and implementing anti-cheat, anti-fraud, and anti-bot solutions.

About the Role:
We're seeking a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in C++ software development, reverse engineering, and Windows kernel mode development.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architecture, design, and analysis of anti-cheat systems, as well as experience with anti-cheat middleware, code obfuscation, and virtualization techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop software pipelines for detecting and preventing cheats on PC game clients.
- Proactively identify emerging cheats and devise strategies to defeat them.
- Stay up-to-date on Windows internals and new features, integrating them where relevant or ensuring compliance.
- Reverse engineer existing cheats to understand their mechanics and identify applicable detection vectors.
- Mentor fellow engineers and advocate for best practices in Windows driver and service development.
- Make existing systems and solutions simpler, influencing team strategy and guiding decisions.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of C++ professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of experience with reverse engineering and development tools.
- 3+ years of Windows kernel mode development experience.
- 3+ years contributing to the architecture, design, or analysis of anti-cheat systems.
Compensation:
The base pay for this position ranges from $143,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $247,600/year in our highest geographic market.
