Position Overview

The Travel Nurse RN role at Bucyrus Community Hospital involves providing essential nursing care in a dynamic environment. This position requires a dedicated professional with a strong background in Medical-Surgical Telemetry.

Certification Requirements
  • ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ONLY)
  • BLS: Basic Life Support (AHA ONLY)
  • PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support
  • NRP: Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
  • TNCC: Trauma Nursing Core Course
  • State License: Verification required
Job Responsibilities
  • Contractual obligations extend through the specified duration.
  • Flexibility to float to other campuses' MS-Tele Units as needed.
  • Every Other Weekend (EOW) commitment is mandatory.
  • Timely submission of time-off requests is essential.
  • A minimum of 2 years of recent, consecutive experience in MS-Tele within a hospital or acute care setting is required.
  • Proficiency in medication scanning is necessary.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications are prerequisites.
  • Typical nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:5.
Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of recent, consecutive experience in MS-Tele in a hospital or acute care environment.
  • Familiarity with medication scanning protocols.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Schedule Information

Every Other Weekend (EOW) is a requirement for this position.

Unit Specific Information

Willingness to float to other campuses' MS-Tele Units is necessary to maintain staffing levels.
