Job Title: Data Center Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Project Manager to join our team at Pkaza LLC. As a Data Center Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and leading the engineering and design of facility and building systems for Data Centers and other Critical Facilities Projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interface with clients to define project requirements and establish project work plans and deadlines.
  • Manage client relationships and expectations through effective communication, including face-to-face, phone, and email interactions.
  • Oversee multiple projects, champion design reports, and produce engineering proposals (RFPs) to meet project objectives.
  • Track project progress against goals, objectives, timelines, and budgets, generating reports and tracking project costs and financial forecasts.
  • Monitor expenses to ensure they fall within the prescribed budget and manage project teams by providing direction, monitoring effectiveness, and providing leadership.
  • Collaborate with other functional areas of the organization, project contractors, internal and external team members, customers, and suppliers.
  • Understand and follow company policies and procedures, as well as company strategy for market penetration.
  • Manage business development for new and future projects in the area.
Requirements:
  • Hands-on experience managing Data Centers/Critical Facilities Design Projects, with familiarity with the design process of building systems for data center and mission-critical projects.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Architecture is a must.
  • P.E. license/AIA certification is either required or working towards it.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
  • Experience managing engineering projects in the engineering consulting industry, A/E, MEP arena.
  • Project management experience in the Consulting Engineering Industry.
  • Client relationship/client management/client engagement/business development, creating RFPs.
  • Effective communicator with strong organizational, communication, and reporting skills.
  • Computer savvy with Microsoft Project, Excel, and ability to create complex reports and forecast modeling.
