The role of DevOps Engineer at Base-2 Solutions will involve the application of software development and IT operations practices to accelerate the development life cycle and deliver high-quality software continuously.

This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to plan, analyze, design, and construct information systems that meet the organization’s needs.

A key responsibility of the DevOps Engineer will be to provide tools and technical planning to support teams in building secure software quickly.

The successful candidate will enable teams to improve their performance processes and data modeling, and will have a deep understanding of applications, systems, and databases architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the applications, systems, and databases architecture.
  • Partner with Engineering teams to create, implement, and apply DevOps principles, processes, and culture.
  • Be a trusted automation and tooling advisor for DevOps initiatives.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in various risk assessments and working in an Agile environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure and services.
  • Experience with containerized environments, microservices, and serverless architecture.
  • Experience with cloud networking architecture and security.
  • Exposure to one or more programming languages (Python, Bash, etc.).

Advantage:
Experience with Certificates, Secrets, and Key Stores.
