Psychiatrist/Outpatient Clinic/Independent Contractor
Job Summary:
Harmony United Psychiatric Care is seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to join our team in Sarasota, FL. As an independent contractor, you will have the flexibility to determine your working hours and schedule appointments at our offices or via telemedicine. Our comprehensive services include psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and psychotherapy. Responsibilities:
Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions for patients with a variety of mental health conditions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers. Stay current with advancements in psychiatry through continuing education and professional development.
Qualifications:
Candidate must be a MD (Doctor of Medicine) or DO (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine). Candidate must be a Board Eligible or Board-Certified Psychiatrist. Must have an active license in the State of Florida or in the process of getting one. Candidates in the final year of their residency can also apply.

Work Schedule:
As an Independent Contractor, you will have the choice to determine the working hours. Offices open Monday - Thursday for in-person and telehealth appointments. Availability to work via telemedicine Friday-Sunday. Option to work 50% telemedicine from the beginning of employment. Option to work fully (100%) remotely if a collaborating physician.

We prohibit the use of illegal drugs and the unauthorized use of controlled substances on company premises or during work hours. To ensure compliance, we conduct pre-employment drug screening and random drug testing for current employees. Violations of this policy will lead to disciplinary action, including termination of employment.
E-Verify Statement:
HUPC participates in E-Verify. We will provide the Social Security Administration, and if necessary, the Department of Homeland Security, with information from each new employee's Form I-9 to confirm work authorization. Please note that we do not use this information to pre-screen job applicants.
