Key Responsibilities- Program Development and Implementation: Plan and implement a child development and family support program primarily at the Early Head Start Center.
- Child Care and Education: Provide a nurturing and educational environment that meets the individual needs of infants and toddlers, supervising the Infant-Toddler Caregiver and Early Childhood Aide.
- Parent and Family Engagement: Partner and communicate with parents to assure client satisfaction, promoting parent involvement in curriculum planning, program governance, and the overall program.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work productively with team members to ensure strengths are utilized and work is completed, collaborating with families to establish child and family development goals.
- Documentation and Reporting: Complete documentation for attendance, home visits/conferences, daily activity logs, and other relevant activities, submitting records and reports in a timely and accurate manner.
- Professional Development: Participate fully in reflective supervision and training activities for professional development, completing additional certification as required.
- Education: Associates Degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education or related field with minimum of 1 year experience in childcare or early childhood setting, specifically with infants and/or toddlers.
- Skills and Abilities: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively with diverse populations, and proficiency in technology skills and software programs.
