Lead Millwright

Job Summary:

KPIC Maintenance USA Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Millwright to join our team in North Dakota. As a key member of our industrial maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of mechanical equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize safe work practices and promote safety policies to others.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Perform mechanical equipment inspections, troubleshooting, repairing, and preventative maintenance.
• Install, dismantle, assemble, and commission mechanical systems.
• Supervise laborers and resources as required for specific tasks.
• Mentor and train junior workers to develop trade-related skills.
• Accurately and effectively use various types of welding and cutting equipment.
• Complete required daily paperwork with legible penmanship and to KPIC standard.
• Responsible for all company tools, ensuring they are accounted for at the end of each day.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated honesty and integrity in all business interactions.
• Highly motivated, positive attitude, pleasant demeanor, and ability to handle multiple time-sensitive tasks.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge and ability to assemble and commission mechanical systems.
• Understanding of multi-hp industrial drives, shafts, bearings, and lubrication.
• Ability to install, examine, diagnose, and adjust various types of industrial and mechanical equipment.
• Understanding of welding principles, including rod selection and pre/post heat theory.
• Ability to work in cold and hot weather/environments and green/brown fields sites subject to grain dust.
• Appropriate level of experience in industrial maintenance/service environment.
• Required Safety tickets/training, minimally including a current First Aid Certificate, fall arrest, confined space, WHMIS, CSTS.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Journeyman status.
• CWB certification (flat minimum and/or all position preferred-SMAW process).
• Agricultural Industry experience.
