Job Title: Automotive Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join our team at Crest Cadillac. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing vehicles to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and diagnose vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to identify issues and recommend repairs.
  • Conduct routine maintenance work, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements, to ensure vehicle functionality and longevity.
  • Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Provide accurate estimates for repairs and maintenance work, including cost, time, and effort required.
  • Communicate directly with customers and service advisors to ensure seamless communication and customer satisfaction.
  • Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications and maintain equipment and tools in good condition.
Requirements:
  • Experience solving problems on vehicles as an auto mechanic or auto technician.
  • Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles.
  • Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods for vehicles.
  • Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment safely and effectively.
  • Willingness to observe all safety precautions to protect against accidents and hazardous materials.
  • Preferred: Texas State Inspectors Safety License.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification from a vocational school or completion of an apprenticeship is preferred.
  • Valid certification (e.g. ASE) is a definite plus.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and maintain a positive, friendly attitude with excellent customer service skills.
