We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technician to join our team at Parham Doctors' Hospital. As a Radiology Technician, you will be responsible for obtaining high-quality radiographs of patients in a timely manner, while ensuring radiation safety guidelines are followed.
Key Responsibilities- Operate radiographic equipment safely and efficiently
- Prepare examination rooms for radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures
- Assist the radiologist in administering medications and contrast agents
- Review each exam for technical accuracy and identify anatomical orientation on all images
- Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner
- Ensure patient confidentiality and maintain strict confidentiality regarding employees and patients
- Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiographic Technology
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) certification required within 1 year of employment
- Current CPR certification
- One year of experience as a staff technologist (preferred)
