As a Radiology Technologist, your responsibilities will include:

- Producing x-ray images of designated body areas as instructed by the physician or radiologist, ensuring clarity and accuracy in the films.

- Positioning and guiding patients throughout the x-ray procedures.
- Conducting x-ray procedures using portable equipment as requested by the Emergency Department and nursing units.
- Processing films for radiologist review and interpretation in accordance with established protocols.
- Communicating effectively with patients, families, healthcare team members, and physicians both in-person and via telephone.

- Maintaining x-ray and other equipment in optimal working condition; ensuring routine preventative maintenance is performed; coordinating with external services for major repairs as needed.

- Fostering effective working relationships and collaborating as part of a departmental team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent, required.
- Successful completion of an accredited radiological training program and eligibility for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, required.
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience in diagnostic radiology is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

This role involves carrying, climbing, crawling, hearing/listening, lifting, manual dexterity, pulling/pushing, seeing, speaking, squatting/kneeling, standing, and walking.


Compensation:
The hourly wage for this position is competitive and based on experience, with a range starting at $40.93.
