Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that all systems are fully operational and are inspected in accordance with accepted standards.
  • Direct and support technical support staff.
  • Maintain current knowledge of all federal, state, and local safety and environmental laws and regulations, and ensure compliance.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance and repair programs and procedures.
  • Act as a source of direction for the training and guidance of less experienced staff.
  • Respond to service requests, including hot calls, cold calls, and odor complaints.
  • Inspect water and life safety systems and respond to all fire systems and emergency calls.
  • Adhere to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguard University assets.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
  • Commitment to the University's core values.
  • Ability to work independently and/or in a collaborative environment.
