RF Desense Engineer at Tesla

We are seeking a highly skilled RF Desense Engineer to join our Wireless Hardware team at Tesla. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the design and development of next-generation wireless radio solutions for our fleet and Robot.

Responsibilities
  • Design and optimize RF hardware boards for cellular and other wireless technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure RF performance and coexistence
  • Develop and implement RF hardware requirements and test plans
  • Work with suppliers and internal teams to optimize RF performance and minimize desense
  • Contribute to vehicle-level systems engineering, including architecture, functionality, and EMC strategy
Requirements
  • Strong background in RF/Microwave circuit design and development
  • Experience with wireless RF board/IC development and multi-radio coexistence
  • Hands-on experience with prototype bring-up, debugging, and verification
  • Successful track record of working with mechanical engineering and firmware teams
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated technical depth and breadth in RF system analysis and design
