Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage patient care from admission through discharge to ensure effective and efficient treatment.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to promote optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients and families to promote self-care and independence.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest wound care techniques and technologies to provide evidence-based care.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing.
- Current RN license or valid temporary license with the Texas Board of Nursing.
- One certification from the Wound Ostomy and Continence Nursing Certification Board (WOCNCB).
- Current healthcare provider CPR course completion card.
