Job Summary:
The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for stocking merchandise on shelves, racks, and display cases to enhance customer attraction. This role involves selling products and processing customer payments.
Education & Experience:
A high school diploma or GED is required, with a preference for candidates possessing at least one year of relevant experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Proficient understanding of customer service principles, strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, capability to operate a cash register for various transactions, and the ability to accurately count and provide change. Compliance with applicable policies and procedures is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with inquiries regarding merchandise and provide guidance on product selection.
- Accurately itemize and total customer purchases at the checkout and process payments.
- Maintain and replenish merchandise displays.
- Collaborate with supervisors to identify items that require reordering or restocking.
- Ensure proper rotation of merchandise based on inventory management practices.
- Keep display cases, shelves, merchandise, and work areas clean and organized.

Physical and Environmental Demands:
This position requires consistent work output that meets specific quality and quantity standards, frequent bending, occasional lifting and carrying of items up to 10 pounds, and various other physical activities including climbing, crouching, kneeling, pushing, pulling, reaching, sitting, standing, twisting, and walking.
