POSITION OBJECTIVE:

The Sales Associate plays a vital role in assisting Management to foster a customer-centric and product-oriented sales environment, where our core values and guiding principles are integral to all store functions. This includes ensuring an exceptional customer experience and optimizing profitability. We take pride in our work and believe that our teams create an outstanding workplace for learning and growth.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Results Orientation

Achieves company sales targets by employing effective sales strategies and sharing product knowledge with customers; suggests merchandise options or assists in locating items based on customer preferences.

Stays informed about current promotions and sales; upholds pricing and visual presentation standards.

Ensures compliance with merchandise handling, presentation, loss prevention, and other responsibilities as directed by Management.

Contributes to visual merchandising efforts, including monthly store layouts and area maintenance.

Customer Experience

Exemplifies and advocates for the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles, delivering a seamless omni-channel experience.

Addresses customer inquiries promptly and effectively.

Facilitates a swift and efficient checkout process, remaining knowledgeable about policies regarding payments, promotions, returns, and security practices.

Encourages additional purchases at the register, including gift card sales.

Enrolls clients in the rewards program.

Builds and nurtures a loyal customer base through personalized service and wardrobe consultations.

Maintains awareness of current product offerings and styles available in-store and online.

Ensures consistent communication with clients through the customer relationship management system.

Operational Excellence

Assists in restocking efforts to keep the store well-stocked and appealing.

Supports order fulfillment processes.

Participates in visual merchandising tasks, including floor setups, window displays, and signage placement as directed.

Helps maintain the cleanliness and organization of the boutique.

Team Collaboration and Development

Encourages an inclusive and cooperative approach to problem-solving.

Seeks opportunities for personal growth and actively requests feedback.

Performs other assigned duties as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma or equivalent.

Previous retail or sales experience is preferred.

Must be at least 18 years old.

Strong communication skills.

Exceptional customer service abilities.

Able to learn and adapt to technology utilized by the company.

Excellent organizational skills and capacity to multitask in a dynamic environment.

Ability to communicate effectively with customers, associates, and management.

Regular attendance is crucial for this role to ensure adequate staffing to meet company goals. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Constant walking/standing for a significant portion of the shift.

Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. for a portion of the shift.

Frequent climbing for a portion of the shift.
