About the Position

The Data Analyst GIS position is a critical role within our GIS department, responsible for maintaining our corporate GIS system by processing natural gas facility data submitted by operations.

You will work closely with operations personnel to ensure timely and accurate data is digitized into the corporate GIS system and provide operations with custom maps and assist with data requests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process natural gas facility data submitted by operations and maintain the corporate GIS system.
  • Perform technical reviews of incoming data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Update corporate records in the GIS system and assist in the consolidation of three gas subsidiaries.
  • Provide operations with custom maps and support data requests.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical design or engineering field.
  • Experience working with Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
  • Strong math skills, including trigonometry and geometry.
  • Drafting experience.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
