Job Opportunity

Clemson University is seeking highly qualified candidates to fill part-time instructor positions in the Department of Philosophy and Religion.

About the Position

This is a part-time opportunity to teach one or more courses on an as-needed basis. Courses may be offered in spring, summer, and/or fall terms and can be delivered in various modalities, including in-person and asynchronous online.

Responsibilities
  • Teach standard lower-level courses in Philosophy and Religion, such as Introduction to Religion, World Religions, and Global Challenges and Religion.
  • Teach courses in New Testament and Christianity.
Qualifications

Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Religious Studies and be able to demonstrate expertise in teaching and research in the field.
