Key Responsibilities
  • Provide civil legal representation in areas such as housing, consumer, education, and employment law.
  • Develop and implement effective advocacy strategies to address the needs of low-income clients.
  • Collaborate with other advocates and agencies to provide comprehensive support to clients.
  • Conduct community education presentations and outreach to promote access to justice.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in the law and best practices in public interest law.
Requirements
  • Member of the SC Bar
  • Litigation and clinical experience preferred, but not required if committed to public interest/poverty law
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Spanish
  • Excellent relationship building, leadership, and research skills
  • Strong oral, written, and presentation communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 2016 and Microsoft Office 365
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
