Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at a hospital in Saint Albans, Vermont. This is a travel assignment with a duration of 13 weeks, working 36 hours per week, with 12-hour night shifts.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide respiratory care services to individual patients and their families, responding to medical emergencies and performing routine maintenance on equipment. Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care services to patients, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and aerosol therapy
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide life-saving interventions
  • Perform routine maintenance on respiratory equipment, including cleaning and troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Requirements:
  • Current registration as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC)
  • 12 years of acute care experience
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Active Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Active Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
