Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Wound Care Nurse to join our team at The Lodge at Rocky Mount Health & Rehabilitation.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients by physical examination, including pertinent diagnostic testing, to determine their health status.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Participate in the care planning process and oversee implementation of the plan to ensure patient needs are met.
  • Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and nursing assistants to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians regarding changes in patient conditions, diagnostic test results, and other relevant information.
  • Document assessments and care in compliance with standards of care and company policies.
  • Educate patients and their families on health-related issues, including wound prevention and treatment.
  • Conduct comprehensive wound consultations, including detailed wound assessments and recommendations for interventions and care planning.
  • Ongoing monitoring of all assigned residents with wounds to ensure timely intervention and effective treatment.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
  • Valid State Nursing licensure required; RN Preferred.
  • Current CPR certification.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $80,000-$110,000, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.

A valid driver's license is not required for this role.
