We are actively hiring for a Registered Nurse position in our PCU/Stepdown unit at our hospital in Fullerton, CA.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires specialized care for patients with medium to high acuity needs. If you have experience in stepdown/neurology/cardiac or another medium to high acuity setting, we encourage you to apply.

The ideal candidate will be able to provide close monitoring of vital signs, IV drips, and other key indicators. They will also administer medications, implement complex treatment plans, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

We offer a competitive salary of $$60,000 to $118,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare coverage, 401K, paid time off, and tuition assistance.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized care for patients with medium to high acuity needs
  • Administer medications and implement complex treatment plans
  • Closely monitor vital signs, IV drips, and other key indicators
  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals
  • Educate patients and their families on the management of their acute or chronic conditions
  • Maintain timely and accurate patient records

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
  • Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
  • 1 year experience in stepdown/neurology/cardiac or another medium to high acuity setting preferred
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
