Salary

The estimated annual base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000. This compensation package reflects the scope and responsibilities of the role, candidate qualifications, internal peer equity, and market considerations.

Job Description

">

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using AWS services with a focus on CDK, Typescript, and JavaScript. You will implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab to automate and streamline deployment processes.

You will independently troubleshoot, optimize, and ensure applications are secure, performant, and scalable. Additionally, you will collaborate with client teams and internal stakeholders, providing technical expertise and clear communication during project execution.

This role requires a strong understanding of cloud security best practices, with experience working in constrained, highly-regulated environments, ideally FIPS-compliant. You must be willing to work onsite in the St. Louis, MO and/or SAFB, IL area as needed to meet client needs and collaborate with team members.

Required Skills and Qualifications

">
  • ">
  • 2+ years of proven experience with AWS services, preferably in the use of AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK).">
  • Proficiency in Typescript and JavaScript for AWS-based development.">
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitLab for deployment and version control.">
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in fast-paced environments.">
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues without direct supervision.">
  • Solid understanding of cloud security best practices, with experience working in constrained, highly-regulated environments, ideally FIPS-compliant.">
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface directly with clients and other stakeholders.">
  • Must be eligible to obtain a security clearance, granted by the US Government, which requires US citizenship.">
  • Must have at least one of the following DOD IAT Level II Certifications (or higher), or be able to obtain one within 90 days: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP">
