POSITION SUMMARY
Under the guidance of the Engineering Manager, the Production Assembler is tasked with utilizing air tools, hand tools, power equipment, and pallet jacks effectively.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assembly: Constructs products in accordance with project specifications, including Heli-coil installations, pin placements, and part marking.
- Packaging: Collaborates with the Shipping and Receiving department to prepare products for distribution.
- Quality Control: Conducts visual inspections of components and assembled items for any defects, making necessary touch-ups to finishes.
- Logistics: Transfers parts between workstations as required.
- Quality Management: Advocates for and adheres to the standards of the Precise Quality Management System and AS9100 principles.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic and contributes as a member of a quality-focused team aimed at meeting customer product standards.
- Takes responsibility for fulfilling commitments related to project outcomes.
- Maintains performance levels and motivation even in routine or repetitive tasks.
- Capable of understanding and executing both verbal and written instructions.
- Effectively manages pressure, meets deadlines, and displays flexibility.
- Possesses thorough knowledge of assembly equipment operations.
- Operates assigned machinery safely and efficiently.
- Keeps accurate records of time and materials utilized.
- Interprets drawings and blueprints proficiently.
- Applies basic mathematical skills in various measurements, including whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.

The compensation for this position is set at $22.00 per hour, with actual pay determined by experience and other lawful factors.
