Job Title: Occupational Therapist Assistant - Travel Position

Aureus Medical Group - Therapy is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist Assistant to join their team for a travel position in North Adams, Massachusetts.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist Assistant to work in a skilled nursing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational therapy and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist occupational therapists in the implementation of treatment plans for patients
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations of patients to identify their needs and abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients achieve their goals
  • Provide education and training to patients and their families on occupational therapy techniques and strategies
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in Massachusetts
  • Experience working in a skilled nursing facility
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
