Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist to provide therapy services to students in a school setting. This full-time position offers 37.5 hours per week, serving a diverse caseload of students from kindergarten through 12th grade. The ideal candidate will hold a valid South Carolina SLP license and have experience working with students with communication disorders.

Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech and language abilities to identify communication disorders and establish therapy goals.
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on assessment results to address the specific needs of each student.
Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student progress and communicate treatment goals effectively.
Regularly assess and document student progress, making adjustments to therapy plans as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
Provide strategies and support to teachers and parents to promote communication development in the classroom and at home.
Stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology and participate in relevant training and workshops.

Certification:
Valid South Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license. A Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred but may not be mandatory based on specific school requirements.

Background Check:
Completion of a background check and clearance to work with children is mandatory.

Professional Development:
Ongoing training in special education practices, communication disorders, and related fields may be beneficial.
