Key Responsibilities- Triage and Assessment: Utilize your expertise to assess patient health concerns and symptoms via telephone interactions, utilizing physician-approved protocols for the assessment and management of a range of symptoms.
- Patient Education: Deliver patient education, according to the individualized needs of the patient and as prescribed by the Provider and/or Group policy.
- Clinical Resource: Perform and delegate a variety of tasks to facilitate patient care, aware of coding and reimbursement issues, and available to other office clinical and non-clinical staff to answer questions and provide assistance as appropriate.
- Patient Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and pertinent information, posting tests and documents patient education provided.
- Current RN Licensure: Current RN licensure in nursing.
- Nursing Knowledge: Knowledge of nursing skills in accordance with nursing standards in the Nurse Practice Act.
- OSHA and HIPAA: Knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA.
- Experience: Prefer a minimum of one year of professional nursing experience in a clinical or hospital setting, but may consider new grad under specific circumstances.
