Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Greet customers promptly and make them feel welcome in the store. Develop and maintain a professional and courteous relationship with customers and co-workers.
  • Sales Floor Operations: Assist customers in finding products, determine their needs, and use various resources to educate customers and assist them in making selections.
  • Merchandising and Visual Displays: Assist the management team in implementing merchandising and visual display procedures to create an attractive and engaging store environment.
  • Stocking and Inventory: Ensure that merchandise stock levels, quality, and presentation meet company standards. Stock and rotate products according to company direction.
  • Point of Sale Operations: Efficiently operate the point of sale system, quickly and accurately scan items, accept payment, make change, provide receipts, and bag merchandise for customers.
  • Store Maintenance: Clean fixtures, shelves, backrooms, bathrooms, and floors according to company policy as directed by the management team.
Requirements:
  • Communication Skills: Possess good written and verbal communication skills, along with exceptional customer service skills.
  • Teamwork and Adaptability: Ability to work in a team environment, multitask, prioritize, and adapt to changing situations.
  • Physical Demands: Frequently required to sit and stand, reach with hands and arms, walk, and talk or hear. Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Frequently lift and/or move up to 3 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
