MRI Team Lead Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MRI Team Lead to join our team at Trinity Health. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our MRI unit, ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality diagnostic imaging services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate daily operations of the MRI unit, including scheduling, staffing, and equipment maintenance.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of radiologic technologists, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care and high-quality imaging results.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction, safety, and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, clinicians, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advances in MRI technology and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve our services and patient outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Completion of an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) approved Radiologic Technology Program or an MRI-specific curriculum.
  • Current registration with the ARRT and MRI certification.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification and Certification or re-certification in Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) within three months of hire.
  • Three or more years of experience as a staff technologist in a specific imaging modality, with a strong background in MRI operations and patient care.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Three to five years of supervisory experience in a radiology imaging modality.
  • Bachelor's Degree with MRI Safety Officer Certification (MRSO).
  • Ability to interpret and monitor EKG tracings.
