Job DescriptionThis position is responsible for supervising and coordinating the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer site. The Security Shift Supervisor will act as a liaison between site supervisors, Account Managers/Field Operations Managers, and professional security officers. Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising staff on assigned shifts, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved empowerment ranges.
- Maintaining and updating access control systems.
- Completing check points on foot patrols.
- Badging and verifying TWIC card credentials.
- Issuing access badges.
- Monitoring alarm panels.
- Preparing reports.
- Answering client management inquiries.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable experience.
- Effective written and oral communication skills to interact with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional manner.
- Frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.
- Read and understand all operating procedures and instructions.
- Licensing requirements may be subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.

Please note that driving positions require a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to safely operate a vehicle required. A background investigation and pre-employment drug/alcohol test may also be required.
This role requires the ability to work in various environments, such as cold weather, rain/snow, or heat. Occasional lifting or carrying up to 40 pounds, climbing stairs, ramps, or ladders, and standing or walking on various surfaces for long periods are also required.
