Shift Hours: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, Monday to Friday

Weekend Requirements: Based on caseload, constitutes overtime if needed

On-Call Requirements: Yes (discussed during the interview)

Hourly Rate: $34.00 - $39.00

Additional Benefits: Possible relocation assistance (discussed during interview), state licensure reimbursement after 90 days of employment

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Next Move Healthcare. As a Mobile X-Ray and EKG Technician, you will be responsible for providing diagnostic services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other miscellaneous sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform and process X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment.
  • Transmit X-Ray images to a Radiologist for interpretation.
  • Perform EKGs (if applicable) and transmit results to a Cardiologist for interpretation.
  • Unload and transport portable X-Ray equipment into facilities to perform ordered exams.
  • Ensure technically competent and clinically diagnostic images are captured.
  • Scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily per protocol.
  • Maintain communication with dispatch and management to coordinate schedules.
  • Professionally interact with peers, supervisory staff, and clients.
  • Maintain vehicle and portable X-Ray equipment in good working condition.

Physical Demands:

The position requires pushing/pulling mobile X-Ray equipment weighing between 50 100 lbs. Vehicle ramps and pulleys assist in transporting equipment, but force requirements can increase when in facilities. Technologists may be required to exert 50 lbs of force or more up to 24 times daily. Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.

Certification and Licensing Requirements:
