Job Overview

Job Responsibilities

As a caregiver with Senior Helpers, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing companionship and conversation to our clients
  • Assisting with personal care tasks such as showering, dressing, grooming, oral care, hair care, toileting, and incontinence care
  • Performing light housekeeping duties, including laundry, linen, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming
  • Preparing meals for our clients
  • Reminding clients to take their medications
  • Ensuring client safety and preventing falls
  • Transporting clients to appointments, events, and other engagements
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Hold a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation
  • Be able to pass a criminal background check
  • Have a current TB test or chest X-ray
  • Provide proof of Social Security card
  • Be comfortable working with male and female clients
  • Be comfortable with cats and dogs
  • Be comfortable with clients who smoke
  • Be able to drive clients to appointments and engage in other activities as needed
