Key Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet those needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, monitoring patients' responses and reporting any changes or concerns.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health and wellness and empowering them to take an active role in their care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that enhance patient care and safety.
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program with a diploma, associate degree, or BSN.
- Current active license in the State of California.
- Recent healthcare experience in an acute hospital setting, with a minimum of 1-3 years of experience within the last 18 months.
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIHSS Stroke Scale certifications.
- Cardiac Arrhythmia class and Critical Care course preferred.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records.
- Estimated pay: $42.00 to $58.00 per hour based on qualifications.
