Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Principal Software Engineer to join our team in Sunnyvale, CA. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior-level engineer to work on cutting-edge advertising products in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience with web-based frameworks and a passion for developing next-level ad products. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining tools that enhance ad trafficking, automation, and creative previews. You'll collaborate with various teams and drive technical solutions that deliver superior user experiences across platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain tools for enhanced ad trafficking, automation, and creative previews.
  • Build and debug ad products that serve across platforms, both online and in-store.
  • Identify challenges and opportunities, translating business objectives into technical solutions for engineers and developers.
  • Review implementations (code review, QA, etc.) and provide technical guidance for fixes.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in ad tech including SSPs, DMPs, DSPs, marketing clouds, ad servers, and measurement.
  • Establish workflows across teams, assigning roles and responsibilities.
  • Collaborate on cross-platform executions, executing independently when required.
  • Document knowledge and processes, ensuring compliance with specifications.
  • Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, producing high-quality, efficient, and testable code.
Required Qualifications:
  • BS or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 10+ years of front-end engineering experience with web-based frameworks including React.js, Angular, Next.js, GraphQL, and TypeScript.
  • Strong understanding of web services, cookies, headers, and server-to-server communication.
  • Experience writing and integrating APIs and GraphQL views, ideally in Java/ Node.js.
  • Expertise in web performance optimization and browser rendering performance.
Compensation: $200,000.00 to $215,000.00 per year.
